The calculations are easy to use, flexible and produce high quality documents that can be easily checked. Section Properties Calculator
TEDDS includes a section properties calculator.
- Create complex sections constructed from simple geometric shapes including holes.
- Create and save sections for re-use at a later date.
- Import standard sections from the TEDDS Datalists to create new or combined sections.
- Calculated properties include, area, radius of gyration, plastic section modulus and elastic section modulus.
- Calculated properties and a sketch of the section are returned to your TEDDS document.
