TEDDS calculations replace hand written calculations which is why TEDDS is referred to as Calc Pad software. The calculations are easy to use, flexible and produce high quality documents that can be easily checked. Section Properties Calculator

TEDDS includes a section properties calculator.

  • Create complex sections constructed from simple geometric shapes including holes.
  • Create and save sections for re-use at a later date.
  • Import standard sections from the TEDDS Datalists to create new or combined sections.
  • Calculated properties include, area, radius of gyration, plastic section modulus and elastic section modulus.
  • Calculated properties and a sketch of the section are returned to your TEDDS document.
